Sarkari Hi. Pra. Shaale, Kasaragodu, Koduge: Ramanna Rai | 2018 Kannada Film | Rishab Shetty | Anant Nag | Prakash K Thuminadu | Best Children's Film | Film Buff Review

Let the revolution begin!

Hello everyone my name is Vinay V. Suvarna and today I would be talking about one of my dearest films, 'Sarkari Hi. Pra. Shaale, Kasaragodu, Koduge: Ramanna Rai', a 2018 Kannada language socio-political comedy film. We all have fond memories of our mischievous days back at school, but the kids in this film have done nothing less than a revolution to save their school.

The film is about a group of children studying in a Kannada-medium school in a village in Kerala. When greedy government officials try to shut down the school, the children do everything possible to save their school.

The film was written and directed by well know Kannada film director Rishab Shetty, and was also produced by him under his banner Rishab Shetty Films. The additional dialogues were written by Abhijit Mahesh and Raj B. Shetty.
Sir Anant Nag is seen playing the cool advocate supporting the kids protest. I am a huge fan of Anant Nag Sir right from the days of Malgudi. I have grown up watching him on TV.
The other cast includes SIIMA Award winner Prakash K. Thuminadu, Ranjan, Sampath, Pramod Shetty, Saptha PavoorSohan Shetty, Ramesh Bhat, Manish Heroor and Mahendra Prasad
The songs in this film were composed by Vasuki Vaibhav, while the background score was composed by Award winning music composer B. Ajaneesh Loknath.

Lets listen to some beautiful songs from the film.

The cinematography was done by A. Venkatesh. The film was released on 24 August 2018 and was a blockbuster hit at the box office. It also won the Best Children's film national award in the 66th national awards 2019.

Lets go ahead and watch the trailer.

The innocence in the narration of little 'Mammootty' played by 'Sampath' immediately draws our attention with the realistic Kannada accent of the people of coastal Karnataka. After watching the trailer, I couldn't wait to watch this film in theaters. The beauty of this film lies in its simplicity. The trouble faced by people of the bordering region between two states is portrayed beautifully in this film with reference to the school teaching in Kannada medium but now belonging to the state of Kerala. The actors are so cheerful throughout that you will feel that you are actually in between them and this is happening all around you. The location, art, culture, dialect, music and emotions throughout this film is really worth a praise. Kannada movies like these are really a benchmark for Kannada film industry. In the last few years, Kannada films have evolved a lot in terms of subject and the genres chosen. And no doubt the people are loving and appreciating it everywhere. Hats of to the team for one more great film.

I couldn't find the legal link online for this film. However if you want to watch a movie so desperately then you definitely know where to find it. 😉

Do watch this film with your family and friends. Until next time, See you!😎
